Commissioning of pharmaceutical wastewater treatment plant 

 February, 2020. Water Regime has successfully commissioned its supplied effluent treatment plant in ATCO pharmaceutical. The plant was designed on the mixture of pharmaceutical industrial waste and sewage waste of the factory. It is also the first phase of wastewater recycling, the ATCO was planned the recycling in 2019 phase wise. Water Regime has designed this system on the latest aeration biodegradation process to save the extra space and to obtain the possible best quality treated effluent to feed the recycling. The plant is a combination of conventional and latest aeration technologies. IFAS “Integrated Fix-Film Activated Sludge” process is a kind of MBBR with extra biomass, having advantages over conventional treatment in which less space requirement, result oriented, low operational maintenance cost, extra ordinary output results with compare to conventional, 100 time extra biomass accumulation are noteworthy. 

Water Regime has designed & furnished this plant to optimize the OPEX with the combination of efficient D.O “dissolve oxygen” maintain system and other energy optimizing devices that ensure elimination of extra energy wastage. The plant has providing excellent result as expected within the 20-25 days after commissioning of aeration and now fully in operation. The IFAS proves its technology advancement over conventional treatment. The plant will enhance the environment and freshwater stewardship reduces the wastewater volumes as well as reduces the freshwater needs and cut down the outsourcing of fresh water and its expenditures.
